Dr. Greg Autry serves as Space Czar and Associate Provost at the University of Central Florida and is a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London
A nationally recognized leader in space policy and commercialization, Dr. Autry has served twice on the NASA Agency Review Team (2016, 2024) and previously as White House Liaison at NASA. He has been nominated twice to serve as NASA鈥檚 Chief Financial Officer (2020, 2025) and completed two terms on the Federal Aviation Administration鈥檚 Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC).
Dr. Autry is a serial entrepreneur and accomplished author, including A Red Moon Rising (Post Hill Press, 2024) and A New Entrepreneurial Dynamic (Flatworld, 2022). He serves on the editorial review boards of The New Space Journal and The Journal of Space Safety Engineering, and his insights are frequently featured in Foreign Policy, Forbes, and SpaceNews.
Dr. Autry holds an MBA and Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine.
